“And all the books you’ve read have been read by other people. And all the songs you’ve loved have been heard by other people. And that girl that’s pretty to you is pretty to other people. And that if you looked at these facts when you were happy, you would feel great because you are describing “unity.”” — Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower (via piccsy)
We are so in love with these art-wrapped city buses, courtesy For Your Art and the LA Fund for Public Education. Barbara Kruger’s buses were all over L.A. for the last few months; now it’s John Baldessari’s turn.

Stop and smell the rose (water)
“To save some money, make your own rose-water toner, which has great astringent properties. Here’s my recipe: For every one firmly packed cup of rose petals, pour two cups of boiling water over the top. Cover and steep until the liquid is cool. Strain, squeeze out the liquid from the petals and refrigerate the rose water in a sterilized jar between use.” Lianne Farbes,TheMakeUpGirl, via glamour.com
